Just Released

Woot! My first novel was published today. Or should I say re-published? Rift is a time travel love story.

I wanted the pub date to be the date the characters experienced in the story. So I put up a draft ebook to get the pub date I wanted, then unpublished it and took the time to write the story.

It's written! It's published! And the pub date is the same day the events occurred in the novel. Here's the blurb...

It wasn't supposed to happen. Not again. It wasn't even supposed to happen the first time. But it did. And then it happened again.

Kilauea erupted on February 22, 1969. It's now February 22, 2019, fifty years later.

Sara and Jason are newlyweds, on their honeymoon in Hawaii. While exploring the lava tubes at Kaumana Caves, they find two stray puppies, scared by the tremors preceding a volcanic eruption, and attempt to rescue them.

Sara and Jason don't know it yet, but they're about to embark on a time travel adventure into a parallel reality through a rip in time. Separated by fifty years and an erupting volcano, can they find each other again?

And what does Ben, the owner of the Kairos Coffee Shop, have to do with all of this?

Rift ~ A Rip in Time is the first book in the Kairos Chronicles series.

An ebook is available at Amazon... $2.99.

Print book is 5.5 x 8.5; 140 pages; $9.95.

Time Rip

Occasionally, there are rips in the fabric of time, where—if you're in the right place at the right time, or the wrong place at the wrong time, as the case may be—you can walk into an alternate reality.

Sara is on her way to somewhere, looking for a fresh start—a do-over—when she gets lost in a thunderstorm.

Jason is on a road trip, gathering research for his master's thesis on alternate realities, when he's caught in a thunderstorm along the way.

They've met before in another place, another time, but don't know that—yet.

Rift is a time travel love story about two people separated by fifty years and an erupting volcano. Available on Amazon... $2.99.

Hi...

Traveling through time, and stopped for a coffee, on my way to writing a novel.

My characters seem to have gotten themselves into a bit of a predicament with a nature goddess in Hawaii and are wondering how to find their way out of a parallel reality that may or may not exist so I have to write the book to find out what happens.

More to come...
